Ever since Paper magazine revealed their cover star was a bare-faced Christina Aguilera, fans have been wondering if the seriously stunning pop star has a boyfriend. Unfortunately for many — but fortunately for her — she’s happily taken.

Xtina and guitarist Matthew Rutler have been together for more than eight years — yes, eight — but they still have yet to tie the knot. In an interview with Women’s Health back in 2016, the “What a Girl Wants” songstress revealed she’s in no rush to walk down the aisle. “We discuss it when we’re snuggling in bed,” the 37-year-old explained, “but it’s a casual conversation.”

The couple got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2014 after three years of dating and welcomed daughter Summer Rain that August. “I swear if I hadn’t called her Summer I would’ve called her Joy because she just lights up a room and she illuminates brightness and happiness,” the former Voice coach once told Us Weekly.

Earlier this week, the reality star made headlines when she got super candid about an ex-boyfriend, revealing that he was into men. When discussing the inspiration behind her 2002 song “Infatuation” on RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked on Thursday, she admitted, “It was heartbreaking because I found out he played for your team, not mine.” Although she didn’t reveal his name, she previously told MTV News that the track was inspired by her ex-boyfriend, dancer Jorge Santos, whom she dated for two years.

These days, it seems like the blonde beauty is in a good place. “You have to connect with the right people that bring certain energies into your life,” she explained to Paper. “And have the ability to let go of a lot of things that have hurt you. It’s a big deal.”
