Dairy Queen Unwraps Its Festive Holiday Menu — And It’s All About Peppermint and Nog
Even though it’s just Halloween, Dairy Queen is kicking off the holiday season with a sweet dose of nostalgia and a frosty new lineup that’s bound to put you in a festive mood.
Leading the pack is the Peppermint Bark Blizzard, a merry mashup of DQ’s classic vanilla soft serve with crunchy peppermint candy cane pieces and swirls of both white and milk chocolate.
Think of it as the Blizzard version of the holiday treat we all love to snack on during the greatest time of year. The Peppermint Bark Blizzard will take center stage as their November’s Blizzard of the Month.
Once December rolls around, DQ fans can look forward to the return of a true fan favorite:, the Frosted Sugar Cookie Blizzard. Packed with soft sugar cookie pieces, festive sprinkles, and icing mixed right into DQ’s signature soft serve, it’s basically Christmas in a cup.
But that’s not all. DQ is also getting in on the eggnog craze with the debut of its Holiday Nog Shake. This creamy shake blends Holiday Nog syrup with DQ’s soft serve and milk, and is topped with a generous swirl of whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg. It’s proof that eggnog is officially having its comeback moment.
According to the popular Instagram @ account, Snackwire, DQ will also have some snacks on hand:, including the Santa Cupcake, Snowman Cupcake, and a Festive Dipped Cone.
But keep in mind that not all locations will have all these festive treats so check your local DQ before you head out the door.
