Dean McDermott’s Ex Says He’s Stopped Paying Child Support, Owes $100K (REPORT)
It looks like Dean McDermott may be in some legal trouble after it was reported that his ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace claims he stopped paying child support payments for their son Jack, 18. The Canadian-born actor, who now shares five children with Tori Spelling, has apparently shorted his ex on the funds he owes her.
“Dean has stopped paying again,” court docs obtained by Us Weekly state. “In the last six weeks, he has been on two luxurious vacations, Iceland & the four seasons in Punta Mita. He resides in a $2 million estate paid [for] by his mother-in-law, Candy Spelling, and has no impetus to work. He owes over $100,000 moving forward, and I believe he has no intention of paying.”
Mary Jo apparently filed the documents on Oct. 10 and is saying that Dean has completely cut their son off. “He bounces my son’s university rent/tuition and is delinquent in paying therapist bills, while he shops visibly and throws lavish parties for his other five children,” the documents say.
It was back in March that Tori and Dean welcomed their fifth child, a baby boy named Beau Dean McDermott. “We are over the moon in love with baby Beau,” Tori told People magazine. “He is a true blessing and his brothers and sisters were overjoyed to meet him! We are all truly grateful for our big beautiful and healthy family.” The duo share four other children together — Liam Aaron McDermott, 10, Stella Doreen McDermott, 9, Hattie Margaret McDermott, 6, and Finn Davey McDermott, 5.

This isn’t the first time Dean and Mary Jo have gone head-to-head. In Touch reported back in June that Mary Jo wants Dean in jail over the failed payments. “Dean told Mary Jo that she wasn’t going to be happy until he was ‘in jail, being someone’s b—h.’ The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office is also officially investigating him for being a deadbeat dad, and he could lose his driver’s license and passport for failure to pay,” a source said.
Tori and Dean are no strangers to financial hardships. The couple was hit with a tax lien in July of 2016 for nearly $300,000 and in October of that year, they were forced to pay $38,000 in unpaid credit card debt. We hope that Dean and his ex work everything out.
