Many were stunned when porn star Stormy Daniels came clean about her affair with Donald Trump — who told In Touch back in 2011 they had sexual relations after his wife, Melania Trump, gave birth to their son, Barron. Neither the President or First Lady have said much about the alleged incident, a new book alleges Melania actually split from her husband once before because of cheating.

According Ronald Kessler’s new book The Trump White House: Changing the Rules of the Game — there was allegedly a time she caught Donald’s ex Kara Young leaving The Apprentice star’s Trump Tower abode. “This was within a few months of their meeting, which was in September 1998, and Melania was going to go with him to Mar-a-Lago on his plane. She went up to the apartment at Trump Tower and out walked Kara Young, the model, who had been dating Donald previously for almost two years,” he wrote. “And she broke up with him on the spot.”

According to the book, the now mother-of-one even had her clothes sent home from Mar-a-Lago, though they allegedly worked things out within a week and she had them shipped back. “That gives you a little insight into her character and of course Donald was impressed by that as well,” Ronald explained. However, upon learning of the tryst, Melania allegedly “didn’t care about the billions of dollars or the beautiful Mar-a-Lago or the beautiful apartment.”

Life & Style spoke with relationship expert Dr. Danielle Forshee on what it means when someone takes back an ex — especially after a cheating scandal. “Trust is difficult to reestablish. After somebody has allegedly cheated, this creates what we call a ‘disillusionment.’ This creates a disillusionment about the spouse that has cheated. For example, they may ask themselves questions such as — ‘Who really is this person? Is this really the person that I married or fell in love with? Did I ever really know this person?'” she explained. “It creates a disillusionment about the person as well as their marriage. They may also attribute memories that were once positive with their spouse as potentially not real because of all of the questions that they now have regarding the validity of the marriage.”

Last week, The Apprentice alum addressed his affair with Stormy — along with allegations that his lawyer, Michael Cohen, gave her $130,000 in hush money. “You’ll have to ask Michael Cohen. Michael is my attorney. You’ll have to ask Michael,” he said. POTUS wasn’t even with his wife during Stormy’s explosive 60 Minutes interview — where she spilled even more secrets about their time together. The former model is said to be annoyed with all this negative attention — leading fans to speculate whether or not they’ll divorce.
