11 Behind-the-Scenes Secrets Every Die-Hard ‘Glee’ Fan Should Know


Can you believe it’s been over two years since the Glee series finale aired? Time sure flies! The show was such a source of inspiration for us and we seriously miss the cast — they pretty much became our TV family over the years.

Of course, as diehard fans, we can never get enough Glee in our lives and even years later, we love hearing behind-the-scenes facts. Like, did you know those slushy scenes were actually the worst to film (the actors’ reactions were definitely genuine!)? Kevin McHale recounted his slushy scene back in the day, and needless to say, we’re glad it wasn’t us!

“I got the worst one in the history of the show,” Kevin said. “I didn’t think about how cold it would be. For some reason, that didn’t cross my mind and it literally felt like my body was… it felt like needles were going into my body. It was immediate shock… hypothermia. I got one in the mouth, so then I couldn’t breathe, but they were going so slowly. 1…. 2…. 3… and I had to sit there for 18 of them and stay in character. The worst part is, after they yell cut, you have to stay there for continuity shots, so I couldn’t move. Like, I’m done, the scene is done, and I had to keep sitting there!” Yeah… that does not sound fun.
