Every award show is full of its rememberable (and sometimes cringeworthy) moments,
but at the 2018 Grammys, it was mostly just full of sudden discoveries. We don't typically learn anything when watching these types of shows (except about the latest red carpet fashion), but tonight we found out Rihanna's true height, realized Donald Glover is possibly more talented than Meryl Streep, and also scratched our heads at Shaggy and his, well, everything. Below, our biggest revelations from last night's Grammys.

Why the hell is Shaggy here?

Shaggy showed up twice during the program — once during a skit with host James Corden and again with a performance with Sting. Uh, we haven't heard of Shaggy since the '90s. We're still not sure why he decided to climb out from under his rock and appear at the show.

Immediately Googles, "How tall is Rihanna?"

When Rihanna and Kendrick Lamar won for their song "Loyalty," we were all a little taken back by the extreme height difference between them. Of course Rihanna was probably wearing some crazy heels, but she made Kendrick look like a small child. Turns out she's 5 foot, 8 inches and Kendrick is shorter at 5 foot and 6 inches.

Did we die and go to Gaga heaven?

This was the thought going through our heads when Lady Gaga performed "Million Reasons" on a piano covered in angel wings. It literally felt like we died for a second and woke up in Little Monster heaven full of multi-colored wigs, tears, and fierceness. Yas, queen!

Rihanna is clearly the queen of literally everything.

While performing "Wild Thoughts" Rihanna was really into her performance, giving us major face as she took over the stage and totally stole the spotlight from the shouty DJ Khaled. So. Many. Gifs.

Donald Glover/Childish Gambino will probably have an EGOT before Meryl Streep.

An EGOT is an acronym for Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony. Last night, Donald prove he was more than just a comedian with his performance and, honestly, might be coming for Meryl's crown soon.

Sigh, why can't the entire show be of Blue Ivy?

We know the Grammys (and most award shows in general) have a hard time holding viewers' attention for four hours straight, but we're pretty sure a four-hour live stream of Blue Ivy making sassy facial expressions at people would be a runaway hit.
