He began the clip by explaining that he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2024. “I went through seven months of chemotherapy and at the end of that, I was pronounced cancer free,” he said. “And then everything was great and then I went in for another checkup this year, in 2025, and I got diagnosed with P16 carcinoma right here at the base of my tongue where it attaches here in my throat.”
After noting that he was “shocked” by his second diagnosis, Coulier said that “none of us need to go through this kind of battle.”
“Cancer picked a fight with me and now I’m fighting back. Not just for me, but for you too. So I started AwearMarket,” he continued. “Because our lives are filled with toxic things. Our garbage bags, our toilet paper, the clothes we’re wearing, the foods we’re eating.”
What Is AwearMarket?
According to the brand’s website, AwearMarket is “on a mission to make healthy living effortless by curating hand-selected, non-toxic products for your home, your family and the planet we share. Wellness starts with awareness—and we simplify your choices.”

The brand works “with lots of small businesses who care about your health, and our round-up program supports cancer research,” according to the website. “Your conscious choices not only protect your health but help fund the fight for a healthier future for all.”

Coulier also shared more insight into why he launched AwearMarket, explaining on the website that he realized he was “surrounded by a toxic environment from the everyday products” he was using.
“I looked closely at the things I interacted with daily and discovered that so many contained harmful substances like PFAS, BPA, and petroleum-based food dyes,” he wrote.
He went on to say that the “wake-up call” inspired him to come up with the term “Awear,” which stands for “mindfulness not just in what I consume, but also in what I wear and apply to my skin.”
“Determined to live healthier, I set out to replace my everyday essentials—food, hygiene products, home goods, apparel, and even pet products—with non-toxic, safer alternatives,” Coulier continued. “But finding these healthier options turned out to be incredibly challenging, time-consuming, and often confusing because of unclear product information. Overwhelmed, I decided to replace one thing: my toothpaste. My healthy journey had started!”
