Twitter Is Going Wild Over Speculation That Miley Cyrus Is Pregnant
Is a baby on the way? Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have been together for a while now, and sources tell Life & Style, the couple is officially ready to settle down. According to the insider, Miley wants to have a family with Liam, and dreams of living a “carefree life” in Australia with him and their future children. But some fans think the couple has already made major moves in that direction after people spotted a baby bump in March. Is Miley Cyrus pregnant with her first child? Or did the “Wrecking Ball” singer just have a food baby? Here’s everything we know.
Is Miley Cyrus pregnant?
Rumors started that Miley Cyrus was pregnant when she shared a food baby picture in November. She captioned the photo “#VeganTurkeyBaby” to make it clear she wasn’t actually pregnant, but the joke definitely planted a seed in her family’s head.
“Everyone in the family is dying for Miley and Liam to make beautiful babies together ASAP,” a source told Hollywood Life at the time. “Miley’s mom Tish would love nothing more this holiday season than to become a grandmother. Miley‘s dad would also love it if Miley were pregnant, too. He loves babies and thinks Miley and Liam would make amazingly talented babies. Tish thinks their baby would be gorgeous and that they would both be fabulous parents.”

Speculation continued when Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth stepped out for Elton John’s annual AIDS Foundation’s Academy Awards viewing party ahead of the Oscars. Fans on Twitter were convinced the “Wrecking Ball” singer was showing off a baby bump on the red carpet. “My sister just said she thinks Miley is pregnant. I’m scared,” one person on Twitter shared. Another said, “Is it just me or does Miley look pregnant? IDK.”
While it’s unclear if Miley was actually rocking a real baby bump, it IS possible that the shape of her bubblegum pink dress gave the illusion that there was something a little extra happening around her midsection. She was photographed in a different dress later on and the bump had seemingly disappeared.
While Miley has slammed pregnancy rumors in the past, she has yet to clear up the most recent buzz. But despite the baby gossip, her relationship with Liam is still incredibly strong. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are still together, but the pair has recently been “fighting nonstop” about where to live.
“Miley is happy staying put in Malibu,” a source tells In Touch, “but Liam wants to raise a family in Australia.” The two are still planning to tie the knot this summer, so we’re sure this is just a little bump in the road. (Get it? BUMP!)
