‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Star Amanda Stanton Confirms Split From Fiancé Josh Murray!

Two down, one to go?

After a record-breaking three engagements on the season finale of Bachelor in Paradise, another couple has officially called it quits.

Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton have joined Grant Kemp and Lace Morris with an unhappily ever after, with the mother-of-two confirming the split after less than six months of dating.

“We did break up and we didn’t just come out with a statement,” she told E! “I didn’t really know how to go about it— it’s kind of a weird thing, but we did break up.”

The 26-year-old beauty continued, “I think it’s good to kind of clear the air because I think there’s been so many questions and confusion about our relationship. We did decide to go our separate ways. It’s for the best.”

Amanda, who has two daughters Charlie and Kinsley from a previous relationship, also revealed she is going to take a break from dating — at least publicly.

“I’m just excited to focus on myself, focus on my kids and hopefully somewhere down the road I’ll meet the right person,” she said. “But, I’m not really going to go out and look for it right now. I’m just taking a break from dating for a little bit.”

The breakup does not come as a huge surprise for fans of the reality dating competition. Former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman called her engagement with Josh, 32, “the most volatile and f–ked up relationship”of her life.

She also claimed he called her a whore when he found out she slept with fellow contestant Nick Viall while on the show.

“He was devastated, angry and hurt, badly. I apologized profusely for lying,” she wrote. “That one sexual escapade would become a power play used by my fiancé to justify his mistrust in me. It would be an excuse to call me a whore.”

However, Josh has denied the claims in the memoir, saying, “It saddens me and is very unfortunate that Andi has chosen to characterize me in such a negative way. I pray she finds peace.”
