After four long years, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx finally confirmed their relationship with a little PDA on the beach! The notoriously private duo was photographed holding hands on Monday, Sept. 4, in Malibu, and fans couldn’t help but wonder if the gesture was, in fact, a celebration.

It’s long been rumored that Katie signed a clause in her divorce from Tom Cruise that prevented her from publicly dating for five years. If such a stipulation did exist, it ended in August.

Katie and Jamie are no doubt happy to have more freedom in their relationship, because dating in private certainly comes with its fair share of challenges. For example, a source tells Life & Style exclusively that the mother-of-one was not happy to see her beau getting cozy with fellow actress Charlize Theron at the Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor fight in Las Vegas on Aug. 26.

“Jamie gave Charlize a long, flirty back rub,” the eyewitness shares. “He was leaning behind her with both hands on her back and shoulders. She liked it so much that she actually put her hair up so he could rub her neck!”

Needless to say, Katie was hurt by his actions. “Jamie was all over another woman — in front of thousands of people. That is the ultimate insult,” says a different insider. “Jamie needs to be more respectful, or he’ll lose her for good.”

Though they’ve had their issues, a source previously told Life & Style that the couple has talked about getting married. “They would want it to be a quiet, under-the-radar ceremony in a romantic spot like Italy or the coast of France,” the insider explained. “Jamie is someone she can trust and have fun with,” a second source revealed. “She’s getting everything from Jamie that she didn’t get with Tom.”
