In Case You Were Wondering, ‘Game of Thrones’ Star Kit Harington Is Just as Hot With Short Hair
The Season 7 premiere of Game of Thrones on July 16 not only crashed HBO's streaming service (if you were one of the victims, our thoughts are with you), but it also reminded us how unbelievably attractive Kit Harington (aka Jon Snow) is. And boy, does the actor have good hair!
But we can't be the only fans who've wondered how long it's been since the 30-year-old got a haircut… and we don't mean a little trim. Basically, we decided to find out what the Brit looks like with a short 'do. And we weren't disappointed.

In footage from the 2009 opening of the play War Horse in London, Kit, who played the lead role of Albert in the production, looks nearly unrecognizable without his signature curly locks. Fast-forward to the 58-second mark to see our boy in all his short-haired glory!
During a 2014 interview, Kit revealed that he's actually contractually obliged to keep his tresses long. "It has its own contract, definitely," he said at the time. "I never thought I'd say that about my own hair. I'm just not allowed to cut it, and I just realized this recently. I wanted to cut it — I've had long hair for ages — and they were like, 'No, no, no, that won't be happening.'"
He added, "There's all of these ridiculous conversations that go back and forth between agents and managers and HBO: 'Can we have four inches off or can we have an inch off? What can we do with this? How curly should it be?' It's silly."
