‘This Is Us’ Star Mandy Moore Flaunts Her Engagement Ring — See Her Sparkler!
This is engagement! Just days after reports started swirling about her rumored engagement, This Is Us star Mandy Moore stepped out for a pre-Emmys event wearing a gorgeous engagement ring on that finger, confirming that she is engaged to her boyfriend Taylor Goldsmith.
Taylor — who plays guitar in the indie rock band Dawes — did a great job picking out a ring that fits Mandy’s style. The ring features a round, solitaire diamond surrounded by pave diamonds, according to Us Weekly, and the sparkler stood out against Mandy’s sparkly, all-black ensemble.
Even though Mandy has yet to open up about her engagement, her This Is Us co-stars could not contain their excitement and they gushed over the exciting news while at an event promoting the upcoming Season 2 premiere of the hit NBC series.
“It’s pretty great. Her now-fiancé, Taylor, is quickly becoming one of my favorite people,” Chris Sullivan, who plays Toby on the show, revealed. Jon Huertas, who plays Mandy’s TV husband Miguel, also gushed over how perfect Taylor is for Mandy.
“I’m really excited for her. I’m happy. I think Taylor’s a great guy. A very talented musician. But what’s more important, he’s a great guy. He’s funny, he’s sweet, he’s loyal. He’s just a really good guy,” he revealed. “We have to find the right match, and I think Mandy and Taylor found the right match.”
This will mark Mandy’s second marriage. She was previously married to singer/songwriter Ryan Adams but they filed for divorce in 2015 — and she started dating Taylor shortly after her split from Ryan. Even though she previously revealed that her divorce was a difficult one, she said that it didn’t scare her away from getting remarried again in the future.
“My life has sort of taken unexpected twists and turns professionally and personally,” she revealed to People shortly after celebrating her two-year anniversary with Taylor in July. “But overall my journey is the reason I am here today and I feel fulfilled by everything that happened.”
