Despite the fact that First Lady Melania Trump only moved into the White House recently, she has surprisingly resonated with women in more ways than people would have expected. In other words, women want to look like her — and they’re paying thousands of dollars to acheive it. (Really!)
It’s called “The Melania” and women are flocking to plastic surgery clinics to request the Slovenia-born model’s trademark look. As for why? That’s what we’d like to know.
With help from her plastic surgeon, Dr. Franklin Rose, Claudio plans to get a breast reduction, rhinoplasty, liposuction, a Brazilian buttock lift, an eyelid lift, Botox, and fillers. Her final look will be revealed in an episode of Inside Edition that’ll air at the end of the year.
“Melania for me illustrates power and strength,” Claudio said. “She is our First Lady and I am looking forward to more closely resembling her and becoming a better version of ME and for it to show on the outside.”
Aside from being the FLOTUS, others think the obsession with Melania has less to do with her day job and more to do with her “exotic” Eastern European features.
“Melania has very well projected cheekbones,” plastic surgeon Dr. Vartan Mardirossian exclusively told us. “The high cheek bones are a feature that is commonly encountered in the Eastern Europeans and all the way into Eurasia and Asia. It is a feature that makes many Eastern European women very attractive and in fact, some of the most attractive women in the world come from Eastern Europe.”
And it’s not just the cheekbones they admire. Plastic surgeon Dr. Peter J. Capizzi told us his clients are interested in looking as youthful as Melania, who’s 47.
“I have had patients bring in photos of Melania’s face and ask for advice on how to achieve a similar youthful appearance as she has,” Dr. Capizzi said. “I have also had injectable patients bring photos of Melania’s lips requesting for a similar amount of fullness in their pout.”
If you’re cocking your head to the side in confusion right now, we don’t blame you. After all, it’s not usually common for politics and plastic surgery to intersect. Although there were numerous rumors of Hillary Clinton having a facelift while she was running for president, she didn’t exude the cosmetic aesthetic that Melania does. And maybe that’s the real reason women are going under the knife to look like her.
“Melania could be the first First Lady with breast implants,” Dr. Rose told Life & Style. “And they seem very generous — especially for such a skinny person!”
So besides a “generous” breast augmentation, which will cost you about $15,000, what other procedures would one need to look like the wrinkle-free FLOTUS? We reached out to some plastic surgeons to give us a rough list of procedures. Spoiler alert: it ain’t cheap.
If you’re going to look like Melania, you need a set of strong cheek implants.
“High cheekbones reflect the light into the eyes and emphasize their beauty, as we all know the eyes are the center of the female face,” Dr. Mardirossian, who has not treated Melania, told us. “High cheekbones make the nose and the jaw line appear smaller and more refined, contributing to a youthful and attractive heart-shaped face.”
However, if you’re looking for your own set of impossibly high cheekbones, whether they’re fillers or implants, they’ll set you back a cool $2,000 to $5,000
If you think Melania’s nose is a little too perfect, that’s because it is, at least according to rhinoplasty experts.
“Comparing the earlier photo when she is younger and the later life pictures one can see that the nasal shape has changed,” plastic surgeon Dr. Jag Chana, who has not treated Melania, told us. “The nose is narrower and the tip is more refined.”
A decent rhinoplasty will cost you about $5,000.
The First Lady’s pout can be yours with Juvéderm fillers and some additional Botox, according to Dr. Rose.
He believes Melania had Botox in her upper lip to smooth out the lines around her mouth. However, this procedure will set you back $12,000!
And last but not least, no Melania makeover is complete without a tight, perfectly smooth face, which became notable when her official White House picture was released.

“Melania’s forehead is as smooth as a baby’s rear end, so she’s had liberal amounts of Botox for sure,” Dr. Rose, who has not treated Melania, told Life & Style. “When overdone around the lips (to smooth fine lines), it relaxes the muscles so much that the area becomes somewhat inanimate.”
Dr. Capizzi agrees.
“I suspect she has Botox injected on a regular basis (every three months), as her eyebrows are arched and she has no lines indicating her age in her forehead or at her crows feet,” he said. “Her nasolabial folds, also referred to as ‘smile lines,’ have been diminished at some point so a filler product was probably used on her as well.”
To maintain a frozen look like Melania’s will cost you approximately $300-900 per treatment.
However, before you run out and shell $30,000 to have the same cosmetically enhanced look as Melania’s, it’s important to note that the First Lady has denied she’s had any work done.
“I didn’t do anything,” she told GQ. “I live a healthy life, I take care of my skin and my body. I’m against Botox, I’m against injections. I think it’s damaging your face, damaging your nerves. It’s all me. I will age gracefully, as my mom does.”
