Nick Lachey Is #HusbandGoals, Dug Through the Trash to Find Wife Vanessa’s Missing Wedding Ring!
The hardest thing he’s ever had to do!
Nick Lachey proved to be the living definition of #HusbandGoals when he dug through the garbage to find wife Vanessa’s missing wedding ring. The 98 Degrees singer, 43, took to Instagram on Saturday, June 24, to let fans know that he eventually found the diamond band in a trash can.
“This is true love after 6 years of marriage……digging through dirty diapers and trash to find your wife's missing wedding ring!!” the dad of three — who shares daughter Brooklyn, 2, and sons Camden, 4, and Phoenix, 7 months, with Vanessa — captioned a photo of the sentimental accessory nestled between used diapers and other grimy rubbish. “#success”
Naturally, Nick’s followers were impressed by the gesture. “That is love!! You are a rockstar hubby!” one commented, while another wrote, “Ugh, they sure don’t make them like you anymore. So so sweet!!”

One fan even suggested that she’d trade her own spouse in for Nick if given the chance. “Can I steal you from Vanessa?! I’d marry you over my husband any day,” she wrote. “My hubby would never do that for me!!”
Though Vanessa has yet to thank Nick for finding her sparkler via social media, the former MTV VJ did open up about how much she cherishes the musician and his commitment to their family in a 2015 interview with E! News.

"I one-thousand percent know I couldn't [have become a parent] without him. And that's why I married the guy. It's a partnership and when he's busy in New York, I'm on mommy duty one-hundred percent and when he comes back, we share the duty and when I'm doing stuff he's on daddy duty one-hundred percent,” she said at the time. "So, it's just so comforting to have that support system.”
She added, “Every single day I'm grateful for him, but I'm also grateful to the single parents out there who do it. It blows my mind."
