‘Total Divas’ Star Nikki Bella Gets Real About How Hard Weight Loss Is
Being a bride-to-be is super stressful — even for Nikki Bella!
The Total Divas star took to her YouTube channel to open up about her recent weight gain — and she revealed that even though she’s trying everything she can to shed the pounds while planning her upcoming wedding to fiancé John Cena, she’s still seeing the scale rise.
“It’s crazy because lately, I have been doing Pure Barre every day — well, I usually try to do four to five days a week, cardio, and then really watching my calories — and I keep gaining weight,” she admitted to the camera. “I’m like, what the heck?”

She said that the situation is so serious that she’s even thinking about going to get some blood work done to find out if there’s anything else that’s causing her recent weight gain.
“I don’t know,” she said. “I’ve been working really hard so I’m very curious. Stress is what I realize too [is] a huge factor, and I’ve been really stressed out lately.”
The retired WWE pro wrestler is currently working on launching two businesses with her twin sister Brie Bella — a lingerie brand named Birdie Bee and also a Bella brand of wine — and she’s also got a wedding to plan!

Nikki finally got engaged to her longtime love during a monumental moment at Wrestlemania 33 back in April, but she still hasn’t gotten very far in the planning process.
“I’m still on cloud nine, and everyone keeps asking me about wedding planning and if I set a date,” she told E! News earlier this month. “I think I’m just so shocked still that he proposed and just enjoying being engaged that I’m just soaking it in.”
But she has to start getting down to business soon — especially since she’s planning to tie the knot in 2018 — and she’s asking her fans for help with planning her big day!
“I want to start doing some new videos asking all of your advice about wedding planning,” Nikki said. “I’ve been really bad about it, and I try to just Google all this stuff but I feel like you just need to hear it from [people] who have actually been through it.”
