It looks like we’ll be seeing a lot less of Kylie Jenner. The KUWTK star and her baby bump have been in hiding since it was revealed that she’s expecting her first child with rapper Travis Scott. Now, it seems Kylie has no plans to return to the public eye once she gives birth.

“She wants to be out of the spotlight right now, and she just wants to focus on getting ready for the baby,” a source told Hollywood Life. “Kylie has even talked about wanting to be out of the public eye permanently, and focusing fully on being a mom and businesswoman.”

This past season, fans saw very little of the 20-year-old beauty — she was even missing from the Kardashian Christmas card — so the idea of her leaving reality TV behind isn’t far-fetched. However, her family isn’t convinced. “Everyone is taking that with a pinch of salt,” the source added. “Kris [Jenner] thinks there’s no way Kylie is ready for a peaceful, quiet, regular life just yet, and that once she’s had the baby she will want to be back out there.”

Previously, the lip kit mogul has opened up about wanting to escape celebrity life and live far away from the cameras. “If I could do whatever I wanted, I would have a successful makeup line, and I would want to hopefully start more businesses, and just be, like, a businesswoman,” she told Interview magazine. “And then, hopefully, I’ll go off the map. When I’m, like, 30, I want to go off the map, have a family, and live in Malibu with a farm, and just raise my own chickens.”

Her decision to avoid the spotlight can also be linked to her 40-pound weight gain — and her fear of being fat-shamed like older sister Kim Kardashian. “She feels huge. She hates being pregnant and says she’s never felt this fat in her life,” a source told Life & Style. The insider also revealed how Kylie has been asking friends for their opinions about her body. “They all keep telling her she looks great, [but] she doesn’t trust them,” the source explained. “She thinks they’re just saying that so she doesn’t feel awful.” Do what makes you happy, Ky!
