Prince Harry's Ex Chelsy Davy Attended the Royal Wedding and the Memes Are Brutal

“It could have been me!” Royal fans are roasting Prince Harry‘s ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy for attending the royal wedding, and the memes on Twitter are brutal. Eagle-eyed viewers grabbed screenshots of the 32-year-old in the audience, and tweeters pointed out that she didn’t look too happy watching her ex marry Meghan Markle.

“Even if your ex does invite you to their wedding, why would you take your ten toes and go?” one user asked. “My question will always be why the hell did she show up?” another wrote. “I don’t think I would have gone to my ex’s wedding if I was gonna be like Chelsy,” chimed a third.

But it shouldn’t come as any surprise that Chelsy was in attendance. A source previously told Us Weekly, “Do not be surprised if Chelsy shows up with a date. The two have remained friends long after ending their relationship and still keep in touch to this day. She congratulated him the minute the engagement news was announced. Meghan would have no problem with her being there and Chelsy was on the preliminary list of friends to invite.”

Harry and Chelsy dated on and off from 2004 to 2011. The duo were college sweethearts, and she even attended Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s nuptials in April 2011.

As previously reported, Harry and Meghan announced their engagement in November 2017, just weeks after Life & Style reported that the red-headed royal had proposed. The twosome tied the knot on May 19, 2018, at Windsor Castle (in St. George’s Chapel, to be precise!). The wedding was beautiful, even if Chelsy didn’t think so! Congrats, you two!
