Are Prince William and Kate Middleton low-key Princess Diaries fans? The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge revealed they named their newborn son Prince Louis — but fans were quick to point out the name is already taken. In the Disney classic, Mia Thermopolis’ cat Fat Louie becomes Prince Louie once it is discovered she is the heir to the Genovian throne.

As expected, social media went crazy when the baby name was revealed, and many paid homage to the feline inspiration on Twitter. Watch the video above for the best tweets.

On Friday, April 17, Kensington Palace announced William and Kate’s third child was named Prince Louis Arthur Charles in a statement. “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son Louis Arthur Charles,” the statement read. “The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge.” Despite the obvious nod to Princess Diaries, royal spectators have a different interpretation for the name.

It is believed Prince Louis was named after his great-great-great-grandfather Prince Louis Alexander of Battenberg as well as Prince Charles‘ uncle Earl Louis Mountbatten. Both Prince William and his father also share the middle name Arthur. Fun fact: in French Louis means “renowned warrior.” Prince Louis joined older siblings Prince George Alexander Louis and Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana on April 23.

“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs. The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well,” the Palace announced at the time. “The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry, and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news.”
