Rob Kardashian has been living out of the public eye for a few years now, and according to a new report, things haven't gotten better for the 28-year-old.

"Rob is still struggling and it makes the family sad," a source reveals. "He deals with depression, weight issues and low self-esteem, but that's been going on for a long time."

Kris Jenner's only son has rarely been photographed since 2013, hiding indoors after gaining over 100 pounds.

"The family, especially Khloé, is very much there for him but it has to be his own journey to figure out," the source tells People magazine.

The DWTS alum has received a lot of support via social media recently, thanks to posts by both Khloé and oldest sister Kourtney.

"If only you could see yourself through my eyes! I'll forever be obsessed with you! My one and only! #MyAce," Khloé wrote alongside an old picture of the duo.

The 31-year-old, who lives with her reclusive brother, recently admitted that rooting for him isn't always easy.

"I've been working on my patience," she shared. "I've been really trying. But I have my moments and I do snap … I can't win life for Rob. I have to wait until [he's] ready to do it for himself."
