Starbucks Holiday Cups 2025: See the Iconic Festive Designs
It’s that time of year—Starbucks’ holiday cups have arrived, and there’s plenty to get excited about.
According to the coffee chain, “This year’s designs feature a cheerful color palette with warm coffeehouse textures and flowing ribbons—inviting all to linger in a space that feels authentically Starbucks. On the back of each cup is a little tag perfect for writing a message.”
“There is something unmistakably magical about that moment the cups arrive—it’s as if the season officially begins,” said Starbucks Creative Director Kristy Cameron.
“The return to the coffeehouse and getting back to our roots really inspired us,” Cameron also said.
Bridget Searcy, Associate Creative Director for Starbucks Holiday, said, “When I see the cups have turned red, and our coffeehouses have turned red, there’s a burst of energy and excitement for the season and gearing up for the festivities ahead.”
This Year’s Designs:
- Green Merry Apron Strings: Green apron strings tied in a festive bow dance around the Starbucks Siren. “Our green apron partners are the ambassadors of Starbucks—greeting our customers and bringing joy,” Cameron said.
- Red Merry Apron Strings: This cup celebrates the seasonal switch from green aprons to holiday red. “The inspiration for this design is the moment when partners (baristas) switch aprons, signaling the season,” Cameron said.
- Coffeehouse Plaid: A holiday pattern that evokes tradition, warmth, and celebration. “It feels like little wrapped gifts for our customers,” Cameron said.
- Green & Red Plaid: Cozy plaid reminiscent of your favorite holiday pajamas. “Green is so iconic to Starbucks, so you see a lot of our brand green returning to the cups this year in a beautiful way,” she said.
For this year’s cold cups, they are wrapped in red and green ribbons—perfect for an Iced Peppermint Latte or your favorite iced coffee.
Last but not least, Starbucks has released a bear shaped cup that is sending customers into a frenzy. The coffee chain is calling this adorable cold cup a “bearista,” but beware, it’s available for a limited time only!
