Starbucks Adds New Winter Drinks and Bakery Items Starting January 6

On December 2, Starbucks shared an exciting announcement on Instagram — and fans are already buzzing.

Starbucks’ new winter items will be available starting January 6, and first up are two brand-new caramel protein drinks.

According to the coffee giant, “This winter brings the debut of the new Caramel Protein Matcha and Caramel Protein Latte. Customers can also choose a new sugar-free caramel syrup, which will join Starbucks’ lineup of flavors available all year long.”

Returning favorites include the beloved Pistachio Latte and Pistachio Cream Cold Brew, now joined by the new Pistachio Cortado. The Pistachio Cortado features three ristretto shots of Blonde Espresso mixed with steamed milk and the beloved creamy pistachio flavor.

Also hitting the menu are the Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha and Iced Dubai Chocolate Mocha, inspired by viral customer creations. Both drinks aim to mimic the flavor of the viral “Dubai Chocolate” dessert bar — a blend of nutty pistachio and chocolate flavors.

And there are new bakery items too.

According to the press release, “Starting on Jan. 6, the new Truffle, Mushroom & Brie Egg Bites will join Starbucks’ breakfast lineup for a limited time. Plus, the Turkey Bacon, Cheddar & Egg White Sandwich — part of Starbucks’ year-round menu — will feature a new Cherrywood-smoked turkey bacon and a more flavorful sharp white cheddar. The Valentine Cake Pop will also return to the winter menu as a heartwarming seasonal treat.”

In the third slide of Starbuck’s post, they also added that fan-favorites chestnut praline latte and eggnog lattes are officially back.

After the brand posted about the new menu on Instagram, fans began commenting in a frenzy. “Chestnut praline, my one true love,” one fan wrote. Another added, “This is phenomenal 😍.” A third chimed in simply: “How wonderful 😍.”
