Oops! Tana Mongeau Wishes BFF Noah Cyrus a Happy 21st Birthday … but She’s Only 20
It’s the thought that counts, right? Tana Mongeau took to Instagram on Thursday, January 10, to wish her newly minted BFF Noah Cyrus a happy birthday.
Unfortunately, the popular YouTuber, 21, forgot to check her facts. “Happy birthday, Noie. I’m late, f–king everything up, per usual, but I love you,” Tana began. “I’m happy you walked into my life in 2019. I can’t believe you’re finally 21. 2020 isn’t ready for you to light up every room you walk into. Thank you for loving me always, you ray of F–KING SUNSHINE.”
Was Tana’s message sweet? Absolutely. Was it correct? Er, not so much. “BRO, I’M 20, not 21,” Noah hilariously replied. “I love you so much even though you don’t know how old I am. Thank you for loving me and being an amazing friend to me, but bitch, I’m dead, I ain’t 21!!!”
Needless to say, Tana’s followers found the post just as amusing. “Wait, Tana, didn’t Noah just turn 20? LMAO,” one fan commented. “I love this, but Noah is 20, girl,” added another. “LMAO when she isn’t even 21 yet,” a third person wrote, while a fourth echoed, “I live for this, but she’s 20, sis.”
To be fair, Tana has a lot going on lately, namely her recent breakup with fellow influencer Jake Paul. “OK, I don’t really know how to do a ‘we’re taking a break’ post and this is weird as f–k,” Tana announced on January 2.
“I’m happy to still be able to sit with Jake and laugh as we do this — but for right now, we both are taking a break to focus on our own very crazy lives,” she continued the lengthy explanation. “I’ll never know what the future holds and I will always love Jake and everything we did. I’m grateful to know throughout this I’ve made a best friend for life and found someone to do life with when no one understood me.”
If nothing else, now Tana has more time to spend with her friends and hopefully, learn how old they are.
