Fans flooded the comments gushing over how great Teresa looked in her competition photos. "Teresa you look AMAZING!!" one fan wrote, while another commented, "She looks absolutely incredible!!! Shut it down [Teresa] stong mom!"
Strong mom is right! Teresa is a mommy to four daughters and even though she's always had an enviable figure, she's really had to work hard to get her body competition ready. "Teresa has been training since December and doing it five to six times a week," a source revealed to E! News. "She's also drastically changed her diet. She was looking for a new way to challenge herself and now she's in the best shape of her life."
Teresa also had a lot of support from her friends and family as she achieved her personal goal. Her brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa were in the crowd cheering Teresa on, and so was Teresa's pal Dolores Catania and her ex-husband Frank.
The reality star has been open about what sparked her fitness journey in the past, and she said she fell in love with fitness when she started taking yoga classes in order to keep her mind off of missing her daughters while she was serving 11 months in prison. "Yoga helped me get through it all," Teresa told Women's Health. "I used to think about them constantly. It used to break my heart, being away from them."
