REPORT‘The Vampire Diaries’ Stars Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin Split
Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin have called it quits!
The Vampire Diaries star has reportedly split from his girlfriend, and former co-star, of nearly four years. Rumors began circulating that the couple was on the rocks after Phoebe, 27, was spotted without her Cartier promise ring gifted to her by Paul, 34.
“They definitely broke up,” a source revealed. The insider also disclosed that the exes — who had moved in together — are now living apart.

The duo met on set shortly after Paul divorced Chicago Med star Torey DeVitto, 32, whom he was married to for two years.
According to E! News, the exes were last seen together in December, and stopped sharing photos of each other on social media around that time.
“They are still good friends,” another source close to the actors said. “The relationship just ran its course.”

It looks like there’s been a lot of change in Paul’s life recently, both personal and work-related. The series finale of The Vampire Diaries airs tonight, and he will have to say goodbye to a character he’s played for eight seasons.
“Saying goodbye to the character Stefan and the things that came along with being on the show [was hard],” he said. “Honestly, the show went on for so long that you sort of start saying goodbye by season six. It’s not a sudden jolt — you’re already starting to transition into a different phase in your life. So it wasn’t like I was splashed in the face with cold water and in complete shock. I’ve sort of been saying my slow goodbye to the character for about three years now, which I’m grateful for because it makes it easier to transition.”
