Look out Hollywood, there’s a new power couple on the rise! Selena Gomez and The Weeknd are totally in love, and they just can’t stop sharing their relationship with the Internet. Most recently, The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, took to his Instagram story to share a sweet tribute to his lady.

On Thursday, Aug. 3, the “Starboy” singer posted a black and white pic of the former Disney star smiling and looking over her shoulder. With a simple “xo” drawn over it, it’s clear he’s totally smitten with the brunette beauty.

Though the young lovebirds first stepped out together in January, they only went public at Coachella in April. And it was shortly after that public appearance that Sel, 25, opened up about her romance with the 27-year-old.

“It’s just that feeling, you know, when you’re obsessed with someone when you first, initially — I always say the honeymoon stage,” she said while being interview by radio host Ivy. “I’m a sucker for that feeling cause it’s the best feeling in the whole world. And I think that feeling — you can’t get them out of your head, you’re willing to dress differently, that feeling that you can’t play it cool which is what I’m feeling in this exact moment.”

And just recently, the “Fetish” songstress told InStyle that her bond with her beau is more mature than her previous relationships. Though the two are dating, she feels strongly that they’re friends first.

“I’ve wanted to be in a strong head space for years, and I really wasn’t,” she told the mag. “Before, I was so young and easily influenced, and I’d feel insecure. You want someone to add to your life, not to complete you, if that makes sense. I’m lucky because he’s more of a best friend than anything else.”
