Theresa Caputo Shares Positive Message About “Love and Compassion” Amid Heartbreaking Divorce From Larry
Way to focus on the bright side! Theresa Caputo shared a positive message via Twitter on July 16, proving she's still looking at the silver lining during a very tough chapter in her life. The Long Island Medium star recently filed for divorce from her husband of 28 years, Larry Caputo, but she's not letting any of her trials or tribulations get the best of her.
"Our journey here is hard enough without piling on the additional stress and sadness that we inflict on each other every day. Love, compassion, treating each other as equals can make a huge impact on us and the world in general," Theresa captioned her post, which served as the perfect Monday motivation for her followers. Fans are relieved to see the reality star in good spirits amid her split, especially because she just had surgery on her knee.

Last month, Theresa revealed her ACL was torn due to getting slammed by a wave in the ocean during her birthday vacation to Hawaii. She continued to keep fans in the loop, later sharing three snaps in the hospital. "All done! Before and after knee surgery feeling not so bad," she wrote. Theresa also said that her experience is far from over, since she'll have to wear a brace and go through eight weeks of rehab in order to properly heal.
Luckily, Theresa's son Larry Jr. stopped by to visit her post-op, and she's been surrounded by her loved ones as she adjusts to the single life. The Long Island Medium star was all smiles while reconnecting with friends and enjoying her Fourth of July celebrations with daughter Victoria. After Theresa and her former flame Larry separated, he relocated to California and he told TMZ that he is already dating "someone special." We hope they both find happiness!
