He’s pulling a Taylor Swift! Tyga recently confessed that his latest album is inspired by his relationship with ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner — and the reality star is loving the attention. Kylie, who recently welcomed a baby girl with rapper Travis Scott is reportedly “flattered” by his new song “U Cry.”

“Kylie is well aware that Tyga’s new album is all about her. He’s been sending her lyrics for months. She’s secretly very flattered and proud, I mean she’s now got a whole album dedicated to her. That’s legend status,” a source told Hollywood Life. “But she can’t exactly admit to it or celebrate it right now. Travis and her are doing so good, and this is a massive sore spot for him. So far, Kylie and Travis aren’t fighting about this, but it could go either way.”

In the recently released music video for “U Cry,” which features a Kylie lookalike, Tyga can be seen playing the piano while seemingly reminiscing about his time with the lip kit maven. “I been waitin’ right here / Still I been everywhere / And it’s like June now / But I love you like February,” the rapper sings. “Tell me about the stories, all eyes now yeah / Tell me I don’t have to worry about those guys now / I get insecure / But I never been insecure before right now.”

His new album Kyoto will be released on Friday and features collaborations with Gucci Mane and Tory Lanez. It will also include his previous single, “Temperature,” which is a little bit more upbeat.

Despite the heartfelt lyrics, Tyga recently admitted there is no bad blood between the exes and he is happy for Kylie, who is busy raising her daughter Stormi. “It was a relationship. It happened in front of the world and that was it,” he told DJ Akademiks on Everyday Struggle. “She has her new life, I have my new life. And that’s it. There’s no bad blood, no problems.” However, he did reveal they still talk from time to time. “We communicate here and there,” he added. Your move, Travis.
