Who Is Delaney Rowe? Meet the TikTok Creator Amid Rumored B.J. Novak Romance
B.J. Novak has a new woman in his life, as it’s been reported that he’s dating Delaney Rowe. After their relationship was revealed, many people are likely wondering who Delaney is, what she does for a living and more.
Who Is Delaney Rowe?
Delaney is best known for making popular videos on TikTok. She has 3 million followers on the platform as of time of publication.
After growing up with the hopes of becoming an actor, Delaney embraced her passion of acting when she turned to TikTok during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I want to do something to make my insides match my outsides a little bit more, and I have to write them — I can’t just expect material to show up, and then I can put my fun take on it,” she told Vanity Fair about her TikTok content in August 2023. “TikTok came around, and I was like, I’m just going to use this as one big self-tape to show anybody who wants to watch that I can be funny.”
Delaney has grown a following by posting satires of classic movie plots or character tropes. However, she has insisted that she is not making fun of any films with her TikTok videos.
“By the way, I love these movies that I make fun of,” she told Who What Wear in October 2023. “I love this archetype. I think it’s so fantastic, and it’s almost my homage to it rather than a parody.”
What Is Delaney Rowe’s Job?
Delaney has a long resume outside of her TikTok content creator. In addition to pursuing an acting career, she also worked as a personal chef.
After she started cooking for a local family, Delaney created flyers online and put them in mailboxes around Beverly Hills. However, she lied on the advertisements and claimed she went to culinary school.
The doctor treating the late Marvel comic writer Stan Lee received a flyer, and she told Vanity Fair that he became her first client. However, the gig didn’t last long and she was fired soon after.
“I was hired to make heart-healthy food,” she told the outlet. “I would make him red lentil dal and he’d be like, ‘I want veal scallopini from Dan Tana’s, what are you doing?’”
Meanwhile, Delaney has been interested in acting from a young age. While speaking to Who What Wear, she said that she regularly participated in the Idaho Shakespeare Festival in the summers during her childhood. Delaney also said that she intended to attend elite drama schools like Juilliard or New York University to study the craft.
However, she ultimately attended the University of Southern California School of Dramatic Arts, and she graduated with a BFA in acting in 2017.
Her acting credits include roles in the 2023 movie The List and the 2024 film The Everything Pot.
Delaney Rowe Is Reportedly Dating B.J. Novak
B.J. and Delaney first sparked rumors in December 2024 when they were spotted out together at the Bowery Hotel in New York City, according to Deuxmoi.
Following months of romance speculation, an insider confirmed to People on April 28, 2025, that Delaney and B.J. were officially dating. However, neither Delaney nor B.J. have publicly commented on their relationship status.
