Zac Efron Receives Major Backlash Over MLK Day Tweet
Zac Efron's not the most popular celebrity on Twitter right now, and it's all because of a tweet he posted for Martin Luther King Day on Jan. 18.
Alongside a picture of himself in a pair of aviators, the 28-year-old wrote, "I'm grateful for a couple things today: Martin Luther King Jr & 10 million followers on IG."

Fans were not enthused that the Neighbors star lumped his social media achievement in with the civil rights leader's accomplishments in the now deleted post.
@ZacEfron Zac I ❤️ you, but whichever social media manager told you gaining 10 mil followers and MLK's work are in the same vein, fire them.

@ZacEfron This is one of the most offensive/diminishing/disrespectful things anyone has said in relation to MLK today. Get over yourself.
