Yet contrary to popular belief, although #flawless, she doesn't wake up like that. In fact, she has quite the skin-care regimen. Sure, she may be young, but anti-aging creams ain't just for those who are post-menopause. On her website, she lists the three steps she lives by to wake up looking fresh-faced:
Step 1. "I wipe off any makeup and dirt with Shea Moisture African Black Soup Facial Cleansing Wipes. One of my biggest tips for keeping your skin clear is to wash your makeup off before you go to bed. There are no excuses!"
Step 2. "With cotton pads, I apply rose water witch hazel as a toner. It's really refreshing and has a nice, soft scent."
Step 3. "I smooth on vitamin e oil, which makes my skin look fresh and feel so soft by the morning."
Last year, she also took to Twitter to detail her routine. "African black soap, rose water/witch hazel, vitamin E oil and tea tree oil for problem spots," she wrote in June.

In an interview with Twist in 2015, The Greatest Showman actress opened up about her struggles with acne. "I feel like I'm someone who has built up my confidence and I am a confident person because it's something that I've worked hard on," she said. "Like anybody else, when I have a pimple, it's annoying. It's so annoying! Especially when I had back acne, there were so many fun outfits that I didn't feel comfortable wearing but it just like 'ugh, I have to cover it up' and it's not fun."
Zendaya's skin has since cleared up, thanks to the fact that she adopted a skincare regimen into her life, along with the acne product X Out. She said she can now do her favorite over-the-shoulder pose on the red carpet and "not have to worry about it."
"I'm all about confidence and being really happy in your own skin and sometimes for a lot of young people, it's very hard to be happy when you have something like acne," she explained. "So if there's anything I can do to boost their confidence, help them feel more beautiful and that's just by simply [urging them to] take better care of their skin, then absolutely."
Zendaya knows she's a role model to young women and makes sure they know their worth. "The best thing is to realize that you are who you are and you gotta work with what you got," she said. "Don't try so hard to fit in, and certainly don't try so hard to be different… just try hard to be you." Ugh, love her.
Though we adore her both with and without makeup, we admire the fact that she takes the time to show all of her fans and followers that underneath the makeup, she's human just like the rest of us!
