Most Dancing With the Stars contestants are a bundle of nerves before going on-air. But Kendra Wilkinson has revealed that she found something much more fun to do while waiting for the cameras to roll than biting her nails.
"On Tuesdays before elimination, [my husband] Hank would come over to the set and bring a bottle of wine, and we would have sex in the trailer before the results show," the former DWTS competitor writes in her new memoir, Being Kendra: Cribs, Cocktails and Getting My Sexy Back. "Whenever you saw me smiling on camera on Tuesdays, it's because I just had sex."
The 26-year-old says that all the contestants on her season of the show had different ways of dealing with the jitters. "Who knows what they were all doing in their separate trailers, but I know what I was doing in mine!"
The blond bombshell admits that the show helped her relationship with Hank. "After the first day of Dancing With the Stars, all I did was dance in the kitchen to practice my routine," Kendra tells Life & Style in an exclusive interview. "I would grab Hank, and he would be my Louis [Van Amstel, her DWTS dance partner], and that got us so close when we would dance together. I would see Hank miss a step or trip and that would make me laugh. And that was such a help to our relationship to get me laughing, dancing and feeling sexy again."
Although Kendra, who was eliminated after seven weeks on the hit ABC series in spring 2011, says she missed the new friends she made on the show after she got the boot, she was happy to get back to everyday life. "I was sad to end my run, and I knew I'd miss all of my new friends, but I was happy, too," she says. "I could go back to focusing on my family and not worrying about the judges and Louis."
