Just a few months ago, American Idol reject Kimberly Henderson became a viral sensation after she recorded herself singing "How Will I Know" by Whitney Houston to her daughter, Vaida, on YouTube.
Now, Henderson, 26, is making headlines again — but this time she's revealing she toyed with the idea of having an abortion when she was pregnant just two short years ago.
In a beautiful and detailed Facebook post that has since gotten more than 625,000 likes, Henderson remembers how it felt to sit at the abortion clinic for seven hours while struggling with her life-changing decision.
"I had my mind made up. I kept telling myself I'm all alone I need to do this. Sitting there, I could hardly make out anyone or anything through the tears," she wrote. "People were eating fast food around me, laughing, texting. I, on the other hand, was a wreck. I kept my face down, my face was drenched in tears. I kept telling and giving myself every reason to go through with this even though I did not believe in it."

The singer eventually changed her mind after a few "signs" — including a phone call from a friend who told her, "There's a reason God gave you that gift."
"Pouring tears I walked out and felt a huge weight off my shoulders. No matter what your circumstances are, God doesn't make mistakes and he is here for you," she continued. "Most of all I remember the enormous amount of relief and strength I felt when I walked out those doors. No guilt. No shame. No regrets."
She later gave birth to Vaida (who she refers to as "pure perfection"), on Sept. 12, 2013.
"[Vaida] is that beautiful baby girl I was singing to at midnight in the kitchen," she wrote. "The video that has touched millions of people all over the world. Singing to her in our kitchen for a memory keep sake is the reason our entire life is about to change. For the good. For the better. She was meant to be here."
