Doctors reportedly told the Brown family to prepare for the worst as Bobbi Kristina Brown, 21, remains hooked up to a ventilator while in a medically induced coma and now, the worst case scenario — death — may become a reality.
“It’s now a matter of when the family wants to let go and accept that she’s pretty much not going to make it,” a source told 'FOX411.' “They’ve left it up to the family as to how long they want to keep her alive.”

Although there's not much else to do for Whitney Houston's daughter, whose brain function is reportedly "alarmingly low," her father, Bobby Brown is remaining hopeful.

“We continue to request privacy in this matter. Please allow for our family to deal with this matter and give Bobbi Kristina the love and support she needs at this time,” he said in a statement earlier this week.
Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in a bathtub on Jan. 31, nearly three years after her mother, Whitney, was found dead in a similar situation. She was rushed to the hospital after the paramedics were called by boyfriend (and rumored "husband") Nick Gordon, 19.
“Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is surrounded by immediate family,” a family statement read Monday. “We are asking you to honor our request for privacy during this difficult time.”
