Kanye West Spent $750,000 on Wax Figures For Controversial ‘Famous’ Video
Kanye West’s “Famous” music video didn’t only spark controversy, but Life & Style has also learned it created a hefty production bill.
“Kanye paid over $750,000 for the wax figures,” a source explains of the naked celebrity lookalikes the 39-year-old rapper featured in the video, which include his wife Kim Kardashian, Taylor Swift, Donald Trump and Caitlyn Jenner.

“It took over six months to make them and Kanye was involved in all stages of development of the figures,” the insider continues. “At one point, the music video shoot was delayed six weeks because Kanye wasn’t happy with how the figures looked.”
The source also reveals, “Kanye became obsessed with the anatomy of Caitlyn Jenner’s wax figure. He never consulted Caitlyn, though. He just took the liberty of using her image for the video.”
