“Creative genius” and the “Michael Jordan of music” Kanye West showed a much sweeter side of himself Tuesday night.
Sitting down with Seth Meyers on Late Night, the 36-year-old rapper says his music is “totally” inspired by baby North West, and that fatherhood has changed “everything and my approach to life.”

The musician even admitted he now wants to create “artistic, intellectual kid-friendly songs” because of his and Kim Kardashian’s 8-month-old little lady.
But that doesn’t mean he’s lost his edge.
“It’s all in the way you’re raised and have an appreciation for what you’re looking at and why you’re hearing it,” he explained.

Kim’s fiancé, who just wrapped up the North America leg of his Yeezus tour, said that “cursing was definitely necessary” on his latest album.
“Like, you know, if you sit down and talk to Quentin Tarantino, it’s like, are you gonna make G-rated movies?” he asked. “It’s Quentin Tarantino!”
Naturally the conversation turned to his love for fashion, and how he’s frustrated about not being able to break into the industry because he’s a “celebrity.”
“I’m in the process of breaking down walls that people will understand 10 years from now, 20 years from now,” he said.
He even joked about the host having his back in that field.
“It would be great if you owned a fashion company and couple support me,” he said, to which Seth replied, “I’m pretty happy, I just got a talk show.”
