Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson Were Just Spotted Making out in an LA Restaurant

Taking their friendship to the next level! Longtime pals Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson were spied getting extremely cozy at Taix restaurant in LA on Jan. 26. “They sat in the corner and were drinking a lot,” an eyewitness told In Touch, adding that Katy, 33, and Rob, 31, were all over each other and making out.

“They came in together really late and stayed until 2 a.m.” The pair were with a group of friends and managed to fly under the radar for most of the night. “They really blended in,” another eyewitness said. “People didn’t even recognize them!”

We find that hard to believe! For awhile Rob couldn’t go anywhere without Twilight fans literally mobbing him. And let’s not forget about Katy’s large fanbase, the KatyCats. But, we guess with the right disguises anything is possible.

But, we do know one person who can’t be taking the news well: Orlando Bloom. Katy and Orlando were a hot couple until their sudden demise. And even though the exes sparked reunion rumors… it looks like they just weren’t able to work it out.

“Orlando and Katy were traveling separately over the holidays and met up in the Maldives after,” an insider told People. “They have fun and love seeing each other, but it’s nothing serious. They are not officially back together. Orlando has nothing but amazing things to say about Katy. She has been very busy with work. They will continue to see each other when their schedules allow it.”

Sounds… complicated. And then there’s the fact that Rob’s “kind of engagement” to FKA twigs was recently called off. “Rob really thought he and FKA would get married, but things have changed. He’s trying to get to a certain level of stardom,” an insider said. “And that’s keeping him in LA or on location more than ever.” Maybe Rob and Katy’s timing is finally right?
