Life & Style magazine has exclusively learned that Sister Wives star Kody Brown pitched a new polygamist series to TLC.

“He came up with the idea for a series featuring other polygamous husbands coming to his rescue and saving his reputation,” family friend Kendra Pollard reveals.

He convinced pals Brady Williams, star of TLC’s My Five Wives, and Nathan Collier, who has appeared on Sister Wives, to join, and they secretly shot a pilot episode together.

So when the network told him in October that the current season of Sister Wives, which premiered Nov. 27, could be its last, Kody had his pitch ready. He admitted he and his family made mistakes and revealed that Brady and Nathan were there to pick them up, which could make a compelling new series.

“It worked,” says Kendra. “TLC said they loved the idea.”
