“And I think now, people notice my ADHD as an adult on a daily basis. When I can’t pay attention, I really can’t pay attention.”

Looking handsome as ever, the 34-year-old tells his story as Maroon 5’s “Daylight” plays in the background.

The hunk, who’s engaged to Behati Prinsloo, has been heavily involved with the “Own It” campaign, which is focused on motivating young adults and adults to take control of their ADHD.

“I like to always make sure that whatever I’m promoting or talking about or discussing at length, is something that I have personal, hands on experience with, and this is no different than anything else,” he tells Life & Style.

“This is an issue that’s very hear and dear to my heart.”

He decided to go public with his ADHD diagnosis to encourage others to seek help.

“If somebody approached me and said that anything that I said, helped them figure it out, or someone came to me and said I need help what do you suggest I do – the first thing I would suggest they do is see somebody, see a doctor about it.”

He’s not the only star in Hollywood suffering from ADHD.

Channing Tatum was diagnosed with it as a child and took prescription drugs to cope.

That prescription medication led him into a severe depression, and he vowed to never medicate his daughter, Everly.

“For a time, it would work well, then it worked less and my pain was more,” he said.

“I would go through wild bouts of depression, horrible comedowns. I understand why kids kill themselves. I absolutely do. You feel terrible you feel soul-less. I’d never do it to my child.”

And Jennifer Aniston’s fiancé, Justin Theroux, also detailed his difficulties with it in childhood.

“I could not keep my mind on one task,” he shared. “It was like trying to bite down on a tennis ball.

“The toe starts tapping, your hand moves, and next thing you know, you’re grabbing a pencil, breaking it and throwing it. Reading was tough, like, insurmountable.”
