Caroline Marie: A Multicultural Talent Making Waves in Hollywood

Caroline Marie is a French-Brazilian actress ready to make her mark in Hollywood after a successful career in Europe and Brazil. Her move to Los Angeles has been a defining moment in her career.

“For any actor or creative, this city represents the ultimate dream. I’m incredibly proud of everything I’ve worked for, knowing that each step has brought me closer to this moment. I’ve earned it, and I’m excited to continue my journey here,” Marie says.

In addition to her extensive acting experience showcased through numerous IMDb credits, Marie’s background in directing and writing has equipped her with valuable skills that enhance her ability to collaborate seamlessly with directors and producers. However, through it all, one truth has become undeniably clear to her: acting is her true calling. While her previous experiences were crucial in shaping her, she is now more certain than ever that being an actress is not just a career—it’s her destiny. Every step she’s taken has been preparing her for this moment, and there is no doubt in her mind that this is the path she was always meant to follow.

Already 2025 and 2026 are shaping up to be busy years for her as she continues to establish herself in Hollywood. She is currently preparing to film the upcoming feature Machado Brothers Against Zombies in Houston, Texas in 2025, while another film is slated to debut in early 2026.

Driven To Create From an Early Age

Born and raised in Brazil, Marie had a passion for film and a strong creative drive from a young age. She often found everyday life too boring and used her creativity as an outlet.

“Growing up, even though I was a naturally extroverted child, I would often spend my weekends watching five to seven movies in solitude, diving into those universes and connecting deeply with the characters,” Marie says.

Her love of writing and acting put her on a natural path to Hollywood. At the heart of her creativity is “laughter, joy, and playfulness,” according to Marie–and it’s that passion that motivates her every day.

Filling a Gap in Representation

Marie’s newest movie, Blow for Blow, is the directorial debut of jiu-jitsu master Rigan Machado, who has previously worked on over thirty Hollywood productions. Blow for Blow is set to premiere in Los Angeles in the first half of 2025. It’s an action-packed film that showcases Marie’s screen combat training and martial arts skills. In the film, she plays a gang member on the “good side,” with her character inspired by cholas in Mexican gangs.

“Being French by heritage but raised primarily in Brazil, this blend of cultures forms a unique part of my identity. It reflects the diversity and richness of my background, which is why I often find myself cast in roles representing a variety of ethnicities. I’m considered ethnically ambiguous, and in today’s entertainment industry, that’s a significant advantage. As the industry becomes increasingly aware of the need for inclusivity, particularly with the rise of streaming platforms, films and series are now reaching audiences worldwide like never before. The world is closer than ever, and this global perspective is shaping the future of storytelling.”

Caroline Marie’s multicultural background has provided her with a unique perspective, enabling her to connect with diverse audiences and bring depth and diversity into her performances. Fluent in five languages, she has seamlessly transitioned between roles in France, Madrid, England and now Hollywood, captivating audiences with her versatility and dedication

Looking to the Future

Drawn to roles of multi-dimensional women of strength and character, Marie hopes to “bridge the gap in representation.” Marie also aspires to be involved in projects that move audiences.

Marie’s inspiration in life is simple yet impactful “I find it fascinating how films can impact us. Many movies have been a lifeline for me during tough times, making me laugh, reminding me of the value of life, and encouraging me to keep dreaming. I believe cinema has the power to change the world and save lives. As an actor, being able to make someone laugh, cry, or feel less alone—that’s what inspires me to keep going.”
