Who is Stephanie Shojaee?
Some people inherit a legacy; others build one from the ground up. Then there are those who step into an already successful enterprise and push it further. Stephanie Shojaee falls into the latter category. As President of Shoma Group, a multibillion dollar real estate firm, she has taken the reins of a company with an established reputation and expanded its reach, reinforcing its position in a competitive industry.
The credit for building Shoma Group belongs to Masoud Shojaee*, who started the company from nothing and shaped it into a major player in real estate. Even the name Shoma reflects his role, combining the first three letters of Shojaee with the first two of Masoud. Now, under Stephanie’s leadership, the company continues to evolve, balancing its original vision with new growth.
While Masoud handles the macro, steering major acquisitions and developments, she is the master of the details. Overseeing sales, leasing, unit mix design, and refining the company’s branding, marketing, and customer experience. Under her leadership, Shoma Group has sold out some of South Florida’s most sought-after projects, including the $150 million Oasis Park Square, the Flats Apartments for $100 million, $103 million Sanctuary Doral and most recently Shoma Village for an undisclosed amount. These successes cement Shoma as one of the region’s most innovative developers—and her as a powerhouse in her own right.
Beyond real estate, Shojaee has built a presence in the media and business world through various endeavors, including a role on The Real Housewives of Miami. Her participation in the show reflects a broader cultural shift in how business leaders engage with the media and public. When she joined The Real Housewives of Miami, it wasn’t for validation—it was because she could.

She joined because women can do it all, because leading a company, building a brand, and still making time for friendships, fun, and new experiences isn’t a contradiction—it’s proof of what’s possible. “I wanted to show that women can do anything if we put our minds to it,” she says. “But beyond that, I also wanted to show that businesswomen come in all different forms. You don’t have to fit into one box to be successful. You can be powerful and polished, strong and stylish, direct and dynamic. I have many layers, and I’m unapologetically myself in every single one of them.”
That multi hyphenate status, however, didn’t come without its challenges. Shojaee’s business mindset—her direct communication, high expectations, and relentless drive didn’t always translate seamlessly into the Housewives dynamic. “Let’s just say my way of thinking did get me into a little trouble,” she teases. “I come from a world where tardiness isn’t an option, where efficiency and directness are valued, and where every minute counts. That business mentality didn’t always mesh with certain personalities, and, well… you’ll have to watch and see how that played out.”
Beyond business and television, she has built a powerful global presence as a fashion icon and digital influencer, amassing nearly 700,000 followers across Instagram and TikTok, with engagement that consistently reaches millions. However, it is not just about the numbers—it’s about the impact, it’s testament to the undeniable connection she has with her audience. While she is a front-row fixture at Hermès, Dior, Schiaparelli, and Chanel, capturing the attention of luxury fashion houses, her platform goes beyond glamour. She uses her voice to showcase the realities of being a businesswoman, the empowerment of women in leadership, and the strength of an all-female team, proving that success is not one-dimensional. By sharing both the polished and the powerful, she continues to inspire women to embrace ambition, style, and authenticity—all at once.
Stephanie Shojaee’s leadership is not defined by founding a company from scratch, nor is it solely about continuing an existing legacy. Instead, her role has been about strategic transformation—adapting a well-established business to new audiences, expanding its public profile, and modernizing its approach to branding and engagement. As Shoma Group continues its trajectory, her leadership will remain central to its next phase of growth.
