“They say ‘muscles make you look manly.’ I personally have never felt more feminine and happy than I do now,” Anfisa, 23, began. “It’s all about how you feel on the inside and not what you look like on the outside.”
Anfisa concluded, “All shapes and sizes can be beautiful as long as you live in harmony with yourself.” Unsurprisingly, plenty of her fans flocked to the post to share words of encouragement and praise.
“You know what? This is exactly it. Being at peace with your body at whatever state it is in. To all the haters, to hell with you too! I’d pay tons to have a body like hers, and Anfisa, I’m so proud of you. You deserve all the praise for all the hard work. You go, girl!” one user commented.
“I was told I’d never find a man if I compete in a fitness competition. I competed, my man found me and we’ve been together ever since. Men like different styles of women. Everyone is beautiful!” added another.
Now that Anfisa’s competition is officially behind her, she’s in the process of something called “reverse dieting.” Basically, it’s the process of slowly increasing you caloric intake back to a maintenance level.
“That six donuts and Taco Bell pump,” Anfisa captioned a recent Instagram post. “Eight days post-show and five pounds heavier … reverse dieting is not going as well as I planned.” To be honest, six donuts and Taco Bell sounds worth the five pounds, just saying.
“Reverse is so damn hard — it has destroyed me every season! Just use that fuel to crush it in the gym. Luckily, you’ll look like a [snack] regardless of what you do,” someone wrote. “Don’t worry! The carbs will give you an epic pump,” another user assured Anfisa.
Given her success, it’s hard to believe how nervous Anfisa was ahead of the judging. “Thank you for all your wishes, I read all your comments last night … It makes me feel so great you’re supporting me,” she said in a video to her fans ahead of the competition.
“Because I’m honestly feeling nervous today because I saw the other girls and everybody looks so good,” she continued. “And I know I should not look at others, I should just … try to be the best version of myself.”
That’s exactly right, girl! Keep being the best version of yourself you can be. Obviously, all your hard work paid off. “To be honest I still can’t believe I won every class I competed in last weekend,” Anfisa expressed. “Only when I look at the photos and my trophies, I realize that it actually happened!”
