Influencer Abbie Herbert Reveals Her Baby Was Delivered Early After Fans Noticed Serious Warning Sign
Abbie Herbert is thanking fans for some life-saving advice after giving birth to her third child, Rocky Blue.
The 29-year-old content creator announced Rocky’s arrival on December 8, sharing a series of videos from the hospital as she prepared for her scheduled C-section with her husband, Josh Herbert, by her side.
Her first post showed the couple in matching patient gowns. She captioned the photo, “It’s happening!!!!” From there, she continued documenting the emotional lead-up to meeting their son, eventually posting a full birth vlog.
In that video, Abbie revealed that she wasn’t originally supposed to give birth so soon. “My hands have been itchy and I’ve had this rash and my test results just came back,” she explained, noting that the sudden symptoms — and the flood of concerned comments — pushed her to call her doctor earlier than planned. That call led to an urgent C-section more than a week before her due date.

Shortly after giving birth, she posted an Instagram Story to thank her followers directly. “& thank you to every single person who told me to reach out to my doctor. If I didn’t see those comments I would’ve never known. I just randomly started these vlogs and after 5 days of sharing my vlogs baby boy was delivered because of something YOU all saw. God was truly watching over us. I’ll be sharing my entire story in a few days when I’m feeling better.”
Fans had been raising red flags about her itchy palms — a symptom many moms recognized instantly — urging her to get checked for cholestasis, a rare but serious pregnancy complication. Their instincts weren’t far off.
According to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, cholestasis of pregnancy is a liver condition that interrupts the normal flow of bile, causing intense itching and sometimes jaundice. While symptoms typically disappear after delivery, the condition can pose significant risks to the baby, including premature birth, breathing issues and, in severe cases, stillbirth. High bile acid levels can also lead to fetal distress during labor.
Although Abbie hasn’t confirmed her official diagnosis yet, it’s clear her vlogs and her followers’ comments made a huge difference in being properly diagnosed.
