The tattoo, which took over six months to finish, was done by California-based artist Bryan Randolph, who has worked with the singer on most of his black and gray ink.
"6 months in the making. Thanks @bryanrandolph for absolutely blowing my mind with this one! Woooo hooooo!!!!," Adam captioned the Instagram post.
The 36-year-old's tat is the latest for The Voice host, who got his first one at the age of 21. A few of his favorites include a tiger featured on his right arm, the word "California" inked across his abs and, more recently, a hand clutching a rose on his chest.
Adam's wife, Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo, is also a fan of the new ink, calling it "some serious art" on her Instagram page.
