Popular Aldi Holiday Treat Recalled for Potentially Life-Threatening Allergen
Aldi is recalling additional packages of its Choceur Cookie Butter Holiday Bark and Choceur Pecan, Cranberry & Cinnamon Holiday Bark due to a packaging mix-up that resulted in incorrect products being placed in the wrong bags.
As a result, the packages do not list the correct allergen warnings.
In some cases, the Cookie Butter Holiday Bark was packaged inside the Pecan, Cranberry & Cinnamon Holiday Bark bags, and vice versa.

Consumers with a wheat or tree nut allergy or sensitivity should not eat these products, as they may cause serious or life-threatening allergic reactions.
The recalled Pecan, Cranberry & Cinnamon Holiday Bark packages may contain undeclared wheat, while the recalled Cookie Butter Holiday Bark packages may contain undeclared pecans.
Shoppers who purchased the affected products should discard them or return them to an Aldi store for a full refund.
If you bought Cookie Butter Holiday Bark that was filled with Pecan, Cranberry & Cinnamon Holiday Bark or vice versa and would like to exchange it for the correct product, you are also eligible for a refund.
