#FiancéGoals! Alex Rodriguez Covers Jennifer Lopez’s Bed in Roses Post-Proposal
We. Are. Swooning! Following Alex Rodriguez’s uber-romantic proposal to longtime girlfriend Jennifer Lopez, the former MLB star, 43, made the most romantic gesture for his soon-to-be wifey, 49. Taking to his Instagram Stories on Sunday, March 10, Alex shared a snapshot of a plush, white bed covered in rose petals. The best part? They spelled out “I love you.”
Ummm, does anyone know where we can snag ourselves a man like A-Rod? Our DMs are open … please and thank you. In addition to the sweet set-up, the father-of-two captioned the picture with a heart, kiss and fire emoji. We don’t know about y’all, but if we had to guess, the newly engaged couple definitely, er, sealed the deal to celebrate their future nuptials.
While J.Lo and Alex have been together for quite some time, his proposal was still very much a pleasant surprise to the pair’s family, friends and fans. That said, following Jennifer’s touching post on their two-year-anniversary, it was only a matter of time before Alex locked it down. Taking to social media, the “On The Floor” songstress wrote: “Two years of laughter. Two years of fun. Two years of adventures. Of excitement of growing and learning. Of true friendship. And so much love!!”
She continued the beautiful message with, “You make my world a more beautiful safe and stable place … in the midst of our ever-changing, ever-moving life … you make me feel like a teenager starting out all over again.” Damn, if Alex gets all that for an anniversary … can you imagine what Jennifer’s vows are going to be like?
Speaking of which, we have no doubt that J.Lo and Alex are going to have the wedding of the century. We mean, come on, did you see that rock?! Congratulations once again to the most genetically-gifted couple in the game.
