‘All’s Fair’ Season 1 Finale Breakdown: Who’s Arrested, Who Survives & What’s Next
Note: This story contains spoilers from All’s Fair Episodes 8 and 9.
All’s Fair closed out its buzzy debut season with everything fans have come to expect from the glamorous legal dramedy: wild betrayals, personal meltdowns, and plot twists that practically beg for a Season 2 binge. The final two episodes pushed Allura (Kim Kardashian) and her firm into full crisis mode as they juggled a potential new partner, a murder investigation, and Liberty’s (Naomi Watts) looming wedding — all while the biggest backstab of the season unfolded right under their noses.
The good news? Hulu already renewed the show, with filming expected to kick off in spring 2026. The bad news? We’re stuck with a major cliffhanger until then.
Here are the biggest bombshells from the “All’s Fair” finale:
A New Partner
After a season of chaos, Allura and her partners finally agreed the firm needed another heavy hitter. Their first pick was Dina (Glenn Close), who had been stepping up since her husband’s death. But Dina turned them down, explaining she preferred to stay flexible, help when needed, and enjoy the freedom she earned “after decades of hard work.” They ultimately made her a name partner — but only in an advisory role.
Dina had another suggestion for the open slot: Carrington Lane (Sarah Paulson). Yes, that Carrington — Allura’s sworn enemy. Dina claimed the partnership could be a chance to finally heal old wounds and add a brilliant, ruthless legal mind to the team. Whether that’s brave or delusional… well, the finale left that pretty clear.
Allura’s Transformation
Fans had been buzzing for weeks about Paulson’s eerily accurate Kim K impression. The show finally revealed the reason: Carrington’s escalating, deeply unethical fling with Chase Munroe (Matthew Noszka), Allura’s ex and former client.
Their affair snowballed from a dare to a full-blown situationship, and after a messy roleplay moment where Chase accidentally called her “Allura,” Carrington hired Hollywood glam experts to transform her into Allura.
“Call it an homage to mediocrity,” she snarked when the firm confronted her.
Carrington insisted Allura didn’t really care about who Chase slept with — only about the firm’s success — and that aligning with her was ultimately Allura’s best move.

Carrington’s ‘Final Revenge’
After Chase dumped her, Carrington launched her self-declared “final revenge,” telling her therapist she planned to destroy Allura and the firm. Step one? Getting Liberty on her side with a thoughtful (and completely manipulative) Princess Diana–themed wedding gift.
But Dina saw through the act. During a tense lunch, she called Carrington out for her “deep and terrifying sociopathy.” Carrington retaliated by twisting photos, texts, and testimony to make Dina look unstable — even producing handwriting that allegedly showed Dina rewriting her will. The rest of the partners weren’t sure what to believe.
Before they could resolve anything, everything blew up.

Liberty’s Wedding Debacle
Right before her big day, Liberty learned her fiancé Reggie (O-T Fagbenle) was hiding major debt. The prenup he presented only made things worse. She called off the wedding, and the couple agreed to separate — but Reggie made it clear he wasn’t disappearing from her life anytime soon.
Arrested for Murder
The biggest twist came in the final minutes. Det. Morrow (Tamara Taylor) returned with new evidence in the murder of Lloyd Walton (Lyriq Bent), the man who drugged and abused Emerald earlier in the season. And this time, she arrested Dina — just as Carrington quietly crossed out Dina’s name in her notebook, completing the latest phase of her revenge.
For now.
Season 1 ended with the firm fractured, Carrington poised to slither her way in, and Dina possibly taking the fall for a crime she may not have committed.
All’s Fair is now streaming on Hulu, with Season 2 officially on the way. Let the analysis (and memes) begin.
