It's a bouncing baby girl for tennis pro Andy Murray and wife Kim Sears Murray!
The couple welcomed their first child in the early hours of Feb. 7, their rep confirmed to BBC. The infant weighed in at 8 lb, 10 oz.
The duo, who were married at Dunblane Cathedral in Scotland last April, confirmed the pregnancy in August, but have spent the last few weeks apart after Andy reached the final of the Australian Open.
Kim showed off her growing baby bump in November.
Though he lost to No. 1-ranked Novak Djokovic, the 28-year-old made sure to thank his wife, also 28. "You’ve been a legend the last two weeks,” he said. “Thanks for all your support and I’ll be on the next flight home.”
He later told reporters before racing to the airport, “[Kim] has been amazing. Handled everything unbelievably well. I have to thank her for allowing me to play and stay here with everything that was going on.”
Congrats to the new parents!
