Angelina Jolie and Once-Rumored Love Interest Colin Farrell ‘Back in Touch’ Following Brad Pitt Split
The one that got away? In 2004, Angelina Jolie and Colin Farrell famously starred alongside each other in the film Oliver Stone’s Alexander. At the time, it was rumored that the actors engaged in a little “on set fling.” Now, 15 years later, it looks the pair is getting cozy again.
For starters, on March 11, Angie, 43, attended the premiere of Colin’s new film Dumbo, along with four of her six children — Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. Considering the proud mama rarely steps out in public with her family, it seems like the event was a special occasion … but was it because of Collin?
“They’ve always had a deep connection,” a source told Life & Style magazine exclusively. “And since Angie’s breakup from Brad [Pitt], Colin has been back in touch.” Angelina filed for divorce from Brad, 55, in 2016 after being married for two years. However, the pair was together for a total of 12 years.
“[Angelina and Colin] really like and respect each other,” the source continued. “Their flirtation has never gone away. They haven’t hooked up again … not yet, anyway, but they have talked about getting together, probably in London, and soon.” London, huh? Not exactly the world’s most romantic city, but surely a getaway abroad means more than just friendship, right?
“They certainly have a ton in common,” the source noted, “from their past addictions and dark sides — they were both considered the bad boy and bad girl of Hollywood for a time — to the fact that they’re both single parents.” Hmmm, are we starting to ship Angie and Colin?! “He still thinks [she’s] a sexy and a badass, and she loves that he’s such a ruggedly handsome who’s sensitive, too. They’re actually perfect for each other,” the source concluded.
