Anne Hathaway was the perfect combination of Hollywood chic meets quiet luxury while attending Ralph Lauren’s 2025 Fall womenswear show in New York City.

The Idea of You star donned a tan duster with a white shirt underneath on April 17, 2025. From a distance, her wide-legged tan pants appeared to coordinate with the jacket but instead featured intricate silver threading and distressed knees upon closer inspection when the actress sat down inside the venue.

Anne wore her hair in a sleek high ponytail, which is rare for the Oscar winner. It gave her face a pulled-back look that made her facial skin positively glow. While exiting the event, Anne wore chic sunglasses, looking every inch a movie star.

Some fans thought Anne’s face looked somewhat taut at the Ralph Lauren show, but Orlando Pita – the hairstylist for her high ponytail — described the look they were going for.

“We were trying to create an AI-inspired version of Anne,” he told Marie Claire. “I think the most important part of this [technique] is using double elastics to make sure that you get a really tight ponytail.”
