Princess Diaries fans, it’s time to rejoice because you may be seeing Mia Thermopolis on the big screen again. Anne Hathaway revealed there’s a chance a third installment could be in the works.

On January 24, the actress, 36, appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen to deliver the amazing news when a fan via phone call asked for an update on the franchise. “There is a script for the third movie. I want to do it. Julie [Andrews] wants to do it. Debra Martin Chase, our producer, wants to do it. We all really want it to happen,” said Anne. ~ Shut up! ~ We feel just as shocked as Mia when she discovered she’s a princess.

The Devil Wears Prada alum emphasized everyone’s on board, but that they want to do the film justice. “We don’t want to do it unless it’s perfect because we love it just as much as you guys love it. This is important to us as it is to you, and we don’t want to deliver anything until it’s ready, but we’re working on it,” she added.

This summer will mark 15 years since the second film, The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, hit theaters, and 18 years since the first one premiered. In case you forgot where the plot left off, Queen Clarisse passed down the crown to her granddaughter despite not getting married. Mia basically made history because she became a Queen without a man. And like any fairytale, she ended up finding love with Nicholas Devereaux, who was played by Chris Pine.

Now more than a decade later, there’s no way of knowing what Mia is up to these days. Did she finally get married? Maybe she’s a mom? Is she still with Nicholas? We’ll just have to wait and see how this royal story unfolds!
